Which is closest to telling the truth, the camera or the mirror?
The image we see in the mirror is a ‘flipped’ reflection but the image on the photograph is just 2D. Like many people I look really awful in photos but ok in the mirror but we tend to believe the photographic evidence…
I often notice that if i look at someone who is looking in the mirror, their reflected image is rather lopsided, and different from lookin at them straight!
In bright light, close to the mirror, is the best your going to get to a true representation of yourself.
