How can I help my sick dog?
My 5-month-old Great Dane has become lethargic and is vomiting and has diarrhea. I’m beginning to suspect Parvo, but I’m not sure. I’m pretty certain that everyone is going to tell me to take him to the vet, but I’m a seventeen-year-old without a job or car. My parents can’t afford the vet bill, so I’m at a complete loss for what to do. It’s not a matter of not wanting to front the bill, it’s a matter of not being able to. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Update: My dog was taken to the vet this morning, thanks to a helpful relative. He was diagnosed with Parvo as I expected he would be, and is being treated for it with antibiotics and an electrolyte solution.
Maybe take him to a shelter or somewhere where they can tell u whats wrong with him for free? Or google some of his problems and see if any home remedise that can help? Also if money the problem then maybe get a job? Get a loan from bank, parents, friends…? Or sell some things? And then take to vet, even dont have all money in full, can pay payments (at most places) Good luck!
